Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:

Omid Mehdizadeh (business name: Apelion)
Römerweg 11
61449 Steinbach (Taunus), Germany
Email: omid@apelionagency.com

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the site, server log files are processed automatically. These include the IP address, the time of access, the page requested and information about the browser used.

The processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation and delivery of the site).

Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. The transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the data processing agreement with Cloudflare. The storage period depends on Cloudflare's information.

3. No cookies, no tracking, only your saved language choice

This website does not set cookies, does not use tracking or analytics tools, and does not embed third-party content (such as fonts, maps or videos from third parties). The fonts used are delivered from the site's own domain.

One exception: when you switch between the German and English versions of the website, your browser stores this language choice locally on your device (in so-called local storage, entry "apelion-lang"). This means the chosen language is shown directly on your next visit. The entry contains only the language code (de or en), is not transmitted to us or to third parties, and is technically necessary for this function (Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German TDDDG). You can delete it at any time via your browser's site data settings.

4. Appointment booking via Meetergo

To book an appointment (Practice Check), a link on this website leads to cal.meetergo.com. The provider is meetergo GmbH, which operates its servers in Germany. No data is entered on this website itself. You enter your details only on the Meetergo page, where Meetergo's privacy policy applies.

The legal basis for processing your appointment booking details is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures).

5. Contact by email

If you write to me by email, I process your details (sender, content of the message) to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries).

6. Business contact initiated by us

We contact practices for business purposes on the basis of publicly available information (such as the practice website). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in acquiring new clients under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You can object at any time by replying to our message with “Unsubscribe” or by sending a message with this word to omid@apelionagency.com. After that, we will not contact you again. Your data will be deleted or retained only as a block list so that you are not contacted again.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and to data portability. You can object at any time to processing of your data that is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.
